At Highmark, we are proud to have been involved in this wonderful breed of the Golden Retriever since the late 1970's. Through limited but significant breedings, Highmark has owned and/or bred nearly 75 AKC titled Goldens, including Best in Show winners, Best in Specialty Show winners and Obedience Champions of record, with many conformation championship titles completed by Linda as an accomplished breeder/owner/handler.

The health and longevity of the Golden Retriever breed is a top priority at Highmark. All of the Goldens are screened for hereditary hip, heart, and eye issues. At Highmark, we continuously strive to breed our Golden Retrievers to the standard set forth by the American Kennel Club, and approved by the Golden Retriever Club of America, while adhering to the GRCA Code of Ethics.

Linda has been a member of the Golden Retriever Club of America since 1979 and has served as a GRCA club officer from 1995-1998. She continuously works with many other Golden Retriever breeders and various local Golden Retriever clubs to maintain the integrity of this truly remarkable breed by providing education, training, positive mentorship and support to all. Linda is currently pursuing her AKC judge's license for Golden Retrievers and can be seen judging Golden Retriever Specialty shows throughout the country.
