Porter is the result of a very special and meaningful breeding for Linda, and he has fulfilled all the hopes and dreams that went into bringing this pedigree to reality. Porter, our Starbuck son, is continuing the promise his father began at Highmark all those years ago - always keeping our eye on the breed standard for the Golden Retriever as we look to the future.
Porter exudes the Golden Retriever type and balance, with a beautiful level topline along with smooth and powerful, but effortless movement that carries him around the show ring or through the brush, happily heading for a swim in the local pond. Porter is built to do it all, as a Golden Retriever should be.
Porter is a Specialty Show Best of Breed winner and a Reserve Best in Show winner!! With numerous all-breed Best of Breed wins. Porter is a definite Sporting Group contender, with multople Group 1 wins and Placements already on his record. We have high hopes for Porter, as he continues his travels with Amanda. We are very proud of this team!
